Cosmas & Andronica

Nazarene missionaires Cosmas & Andronica Mutowa will be visiting SBFN Thursday, August 4th at 6:30pm. Plan to come and listen as they share their amazing lives as missionaries in South Africa.After the service there will be refreshments in the lobby. Take this opportunity to mingle and ask the Mutowas and questions you may have.
 Rev. Cosmas & Andronica Mutowa

Rev. and Mrs. Mutowa were commissioned as global missionaries by the Churc of the Nazarene in 2010. They currently live in South Africa, but Rev. Mutowa is from Zimbabwe and his wife Andronica is from Eswatini (Swaziland).

The Mutowas have three children, Nomsa Tricia, Daniel, and Panashe.  Rev. Mutowa completed his theological education in Swaziland where he obtained a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1988, offered by Canadian Nazarene College (Ambrose University).  He then took up pastoral work in his hometown, Harare Zimbabwe. He was ordained in 1990.  At Africa Nazarene University he received a Master of Arts degree in Religion in 1999.

Rev. Mutowa also graudated with a Master of Theology degree (Compassionate Ministry and Humanitarian/Development Practices) from NTC, Manchester, United Kingdom in 2019.

Rev. Mutowa served on the Regional Advisory Council for the Africa Region, and as a General Board member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Rev. Mutowa has served as Africa Regional Coordinator for Nazarene Compassionate Coordinator from 2008 to 2020, and now serves as Compassion Education Coordinator and Church Engagement in the NCM Global Office.
