SBFN Children’s Ministries is helping children grow up with Jesus as their personal Savior, Lord, and Friend
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).
At SBFN, we seek to live that out every week through our Children’s Ministries programs. Statistics have shown that more than 80% of adult Christians become believers as children. This truth drives us to share the love of Jesus with as many children as we can. Here are a three of the ways we do that:
|Big City Studio||Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m., children worship with the adults and then are dismissed to head up to Big City Studio. While there, children engage in games, crafts, songs, stories, and videos centered around the day’s Bible passage.|
|Caravan||Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. finds the children of SBFN engaged in Caravan. Caravan takes the principles behind scouting and infuses it with Christian teaching and activities. The goals of Caravan are to see children grow physically, relationally, and spiritually. As children progress, they earn colorful badges that they can proudly display on their sashes or bandanas. They do this by participating in a number of activities from cooking, archery, camping, and sewing to creatively retelling Bible stories and high energy songs, memory verses, and pledges.|
|Sunday School||Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Children meet each other in age-based classrooms to study the Bible, pray, and, well, have fun!|
