Good morning, SBFN Family,

A quick Friday update.  First, let me say that the pastoral staff
continues to pray for each of you.  Our hearts and prayers go out to you
and your loved ones as we all contend with this terrible disease
ravaging our world in more ways than one.  Nevertheless, as believers we
know that our hope is in Jesus Christ and that come what may, we are in
God’s hands.

To that end, here are a couple of ways you can continue to grow and stay
connected with SBFN in case you’re not already aware of them.

1) Today (Friday) we have begun a new, fun way to get to know each other
a little better.  You can find it on our SBFN Facebook page.  It’s
called “Family of the Week”, and each week we’ll be highlighting a
different SBFN individual or family.  This week it’s the Patrick and
Brittney Fitch family and their three children.  We hope this will
continue to foster a closer sense of community as well as give you a
chance to pray specifically for families that are highlighted.

2) If you haven’t already discovered, the SBFN pastoral staff is writing
a brand new devotional each day that you can read together with your
family or on your own.  Our hope is that you will grow and find comfort
and insight in God’s word during these difficult times.  You can find
them on our website at www.sbfnaz.org

button is at the top of the page.

3) Thank you so much for your continued financial support of SBFN.  It’s
allowing us to stay up-to-date on our financial obligations.  Many of
you have asked how you can continue to support SBFN through your tithes
and offerings.  You can do this either by going to our website and
clicking the “Giving” button (http://www.sbfnaz.org/giving/
<cid:part3.8721CDCD.9B62C1E0@southbendfirst.org>) and then setting up a
secure account, or you can continue to mail your tithe checks to the
church building.  These will be properly accounted for just as always
and deposited on Mondays or Tuesdays.  If checks come in after that,
they will go in the following week’s deposit.  The church building’s
address is as follows:

South Bend First Church of the Nazarene
51690 Ironwood Rd
South Bend, IN 46635

In closing, I want to encourage you to continue to reach out to one
another by phone or across the internet.  Some of you might even send a
card or note of encouragement.  Again, keep an eye out on your
neighbors, finding ways to be Jesus to those around you. This is a
chance for the Body of Christ, the Church, to shine brightly.

I’ll see you all Sunday during our Sunday sermon on our webpage!

Following Jesus with you,
Pastor Andy
